Partners Profile Management for Channel Partners

Add/Edit a Partner Account

Overview

Effective partner relationship management relies on maintaining accurate and detailed records for each partner. The Partner Accounts section serves as the core database for all registered partners within the platform, allowing program managers to access, update, and oversee critical information. This includes not only basic contact and company data but also specific partnership attributes like assigned managers, strategic alliances, market focus, and license status, which are crucial for segmenting partners and tailoring engagement strategies.

Administrators use this module to ensure that partner profiles are complete and reflect the current status and capabilities of their channel partners. This detailed information supports various operational aspects, from assigning appropriate resources and benefits to facilitating targeted communication and performance tracking across the entire partner lifecycle, as outlined in the Onboard module's WF-05 Partner Profile Management.

This screen serves as the central interface for vendor-side administrators to add new partner accounts or modify existing partner profiles within the UPM. It consolidates comprehensive information about a partner, covering their partnership details, company specifics, and public-facing profile content. Administrators utilize this form to manage critical partner attributes such as their license status, distribution preferences, financial targets, and operational details, which directly influence their engagement and eligibility for various program benefits like MDF and deal registration. The form is structured into distinct sections to organize the extensive data required for effective partner management, ensuring that all relevant information is captured and maintained for each partner in the ecosystem.
