Overview
Market Development Funds (MDF) are crucial for fostering partner engagement and driving joint marketing efforts. The MDF Plans feature within the Incentivize module provides a structured way for vendors to allocate and manage these funds, enabling partners to execute local marketing campaigns, events, or other initiatives that promote the vendor's products or services. By co-investing in these activities, vendors can extend their market reach and leverage partners' local expertise.
Administrators can define various aspects of each MDF plan, including the total amount, the vendor's contribution (OEM Contribution), and the partner's contribution. The system also tracks the expected Return on Investment (ROI) for each plan, allowing for performance evaluation. Each plan progresses through an approval workflow, ensuring that funds are allocated strategically and in accordance with program policies. This centralized management helps maintain transparency, streamline the application and approval process, and ultimately maximize the effectiveness of MDF programs.
